Thirty versus eight is not subtle
Dizziness and somnolence sit on the highlight list: at least 5 percent and twice placebo, together with dry mouth, edema, blurred vision, weight gain, and trouble concentrating.
A 150 mg start can still tilt a staircase. 'Only the beginning dose' is how people fail a warehouse shift in week one. First-week scan.
It can last until the last capsule
In short-term controlled studies, dizziness persisted until the last dose in 30 percent of Lyrica-treated people who reported it. Somnolence persisted until the last dose in 42 percent. Waiting 'a couple of days to get used to it' does not always clear the room.
Those two reactions led 4 percent each to leave controlled studies. Placebo withdrawals were 1 percent for dizziness and under 1 percent for somnolence. If stairs already fail, hold the step to 300 mg.
A creatinine climb can look like 'just tired'
Unchanged drug in the urine means a 150 mg day can become too large when CrCl falls. Fog that arrived the same week as a lab tick is a rewrite, not a personality. Kidney scan.
Age plus a climbing creatinine is a rewrite, not a personality. Recalculate before another 75 mg.
Blur is a cousin, not the same room
Blurred vision sat at 7 percent versus 2 percent placebo in adult controlled work and often tracked the last increase. Night driving in that week is a bad experiment. Sudden severe vision change is same-day care.
Dizziness is the job on this page. Vision change still belongs in the same-week call if it arrived with the tilt. Do not wait for a forum to load.
Wine or an opioid makes the same tilt worse
Counselling adds extra CNS effects when opiates or benzodiazepines sit beside pregabalin. Alcohol is an avoid. Alcohol scan. Opioid stacks: misuse flag.
A second labelled sedative on the same night is still two depressants. Name every one at the visit before anyone calls the pair gentle.
Dizzy tag, then the keys
Yes, 30 versus 8. Sleepiness 23 versus 8. Can last the course. Do not drive until you know: driving scan.
Panel: pregabalin panel. Yuki Tanaka tags the 30 percent after section 5.5.
