Which strengths can a US pharmacy put on the bottle?
25 mg, 50 mg, and 100 mg. Brand Viagra supplies those three as blue rounded-diamond tablets. Listed generics use the same three milligrams with other shapes and imprints.
A script has to name one of those rungs. 'A blue pill' is not a strength.
Is 20 mg three times a day one of these strengths?
No. Pulmonary sildenafil 20 mg TID is a different product. Do not treat it as a fourth ED rung or as cheap generic Viagra. Do not stack it with an as-needed 25-100 mg swallow.
If both bottles are in the house, one prescriber should see them together before anyone adds a night-time ED tablet.
Why does this board keep saying 25-100 mg?
Because those three tablets are the US ED range this site locks. A page that talks only 50 mg would hide the 25 mg start flags and the 100 mg ceiling. The range is the order, not a promise that everyone swallows 100 mg.
Food delay applies across the range. Plate ratings sit on the meal-tag signal.
Does a generic have to look like the blue diamond?
No. Brand stamps and generic imprints differ. The milligram has to match the script. Color is not a food rule and not a potency score. December 2017 is when US shops first stocked those generics; see the generic scan.
Do not jump from 50 mg to 100 mg to 'match a 1998 memory' after a shape change.
Is there a 150 mg US tablet if 100 mg is quiet?
No. The labeled maximum is 100 mg. Two tablets to invent 150 mg or 200 mg are a frequency and dose miss. Once per day still holds.
After two clean 100 mg trials, the next review is cause and class, not a fourth milligram. The sildenafil panel does not invent a rung.
Which of the three is the usual first tablet?
50 mg for most adults, about one hour before activity. 25 mg is the consider-first rung for age, liver, CrCl under 30, CYP, or a stable alpha-blocker. 100 mg is the ceiling after effect and toleration.
The start scan keeps 50 as the default. This page only lists what can be written.
