What 22 May 2018 actually listed
Teva's tadalafil tablets USP were listed against Cialis for erectile dysfunction, BPH, and both. The strengths on that row include the daily 2.5 mg and 5 mg tablets. Later manufacturers followed. This scan does not invent a street price for any of them.
Launch weeks and coupon boards moved after that listing. The chemistry did not. Approved generics have to match the salt and the labeled strength. Yuki Tanaka rates a swap by the milligram and the clock, not by the foil color.
Asking to keep brand Cialis on a daily script
Some plans will fill brand if the prescriber writes it that way and the plan allows it. That is coverage, not a potency gap. The labeled daily start is still 2.5 mg for most ED starts.
If two weeks on the same milligram and the same clock feel different after a product swap, tell the pharmacist first. Then the prescriber. The order scan is the visit job if you do not yet have a line.
Same salt on the daily 2.5-5 rungs
Once-daily Cialis starts at 2.5 mg and may rise to 5 mg. Generic tadalafil written the same way is that regimen. Reviews that call generic 'weaker' usually mixed a missed swallow, a new hour, or a 20 mg weekend memory on a 5 mg habit.
Half-life counseling stays near 17.5 hours on either name. Food still does not force a fast. Stimulation is still required. The tadalafil panel keeps those rows.
Keep pulmonary 20 mg out of the daily cup
Tadalafil for pulmonary arterial hypertension is a different product story and a different daily total. An Adcirca-style 20 mg tablet is not a generic Cialis daily 5 mg. Label the sleeve if both ever sit in one house.
ED and BPH generics follow the Cialis milligram ladder: 2.5, 5, 10, 20. Only 2.5 and 5 are the once-daily ED and BPH rungs this board locks.
What this board writes down after a swap
Hour used, missed swallows, and whether any attempts happened. A quiet week after a new imprint is not proof the generic failed. Toronto mail for page cites: [email protected].
CYP and kidney caps travel with the INN. Ketoconazole still caps daily use at 2.5 mg. Clearance under 30 still turns daily use off. A new manufacturer does not lift those rows.
When the pharmacy switches the imprint
Shape and stamp can change when the wholesaler changes. Log two clean weeks at the same hour before you indict the tablet. Anxiety after a new look mimics a failed fill.
Photograph the imprint if switches have confused you before. Bring that photo to the pharmacist with the DIN. Do not jump from 5 mg daily to a leftover 20 mg the same night to 'test' the generic.
