An alpha-blocker already on the tray is another room
Tadalafil alone is approved for BPH. Combining two hypotensive prostate drugs is the risky part. Once-daily Cialis is not recommended in combination with alpha-blockers for the treatment of BPH. The alpha scan is that stack.
Do not start tamsulosin and daily 5 mg on the same morning because a thread said both treat the prostate. Stabilize one story first.
A weekend 20 mg does not cover the stream
As-needed 20 mg is an ED peak, not the BPH schedule. Quiet urinary weeks are not a reason to 'save tablets' if LUTS was why 5 mg was written. Stopping 5 mg for a holiday weekend can bounce both stream and erections.
The weekend contrast is for men choosing a rhythm. It is not a LUTS substitute.
What Yuki Tanaka wants on the prostate card
Night voids, urgency, and whether ED attempts happened. A month with better stream and zero attempts still counts as a 5 mg BPH result. Write it down or the next visit becomes only an erection argument.
Toronto page cites: [email protected]. The tadalafil panel holds the daily-versus-20 table if both indications are in play.
Five milligrams once daily is the prostate line
Cialis for once-daily use writes 5 mg for the signs and symptoms of BPH. The swallow sits at about the same hour. Food does not force a fast. Night voiding that improves is part of the rating, not a side quest.
Creatinine clearance 30 to 50 mL/min can open that BPH line at 2.5 mg first. Clearance under 30 turns daily use off. The kidney scan keeps the number.
Finasteride plus 5 mg for a limited stretch
When tadalafil is used with finasteride to initiate BPH treatment, the labeled tadalafil dose is 5 mg once daily for up to 26 weeks. Duration after that stretch belongs to the prescriber, not a review that says 'stack prostate pills forever.'
That pair is still one daily tadalafil tablet. It is not permission to add an alpha-blocker the same Monday without a plan.
